Ok guys this is a weird question but ill go for it since nobody seems to have had this. i am a perfectly normal guy 6'2 athletic body type, like 4 pounds overweight. this only happens like once every 5 or 6 months but i wonder what it is. sometimes when i feel the skin right under my shoulder on the back i feel a little bump. well i figured it was just a little pimple or something so i try to squeeze it and when i do immediately some white stuff comes out and it smells horrible, i mean horrible. i smelled it once and it made me throw up, that's how bad it is seriously. does anyone know what this can be, i must say i do have an oil skin, my best guess would be oil clogged up or something but why such a bad smell?

It may be a reoccuring abscess/boil or a staph infection caused by the staphylococcus bacteria genus.There are other various skin(dermatological/integumentary system) infections/terms such as carbuncles (made of several boils) and furnuncles (a boil).They can be caused by poor hygeine,stress,diet,diabetes,depressed immune system,etc. They are infections that start in a hair follicle or oil, sebacceous gland. Natural Remedies: It's important to look at the diet and see what's missing. A good balanced diet should include vegetables, grains, fiber and fruit. It is also wise to include yogurt, kefir, or acidophilus (friendly intestinal flora). Drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of pure water daily. You may want to consider going on a short cleanse to rid your body of toxins and to re-balance the body's Ph. Several herbs have been indicated to help cleanse the blood as well. These are red clover, burdock root, celery, milk thistle and dandelion. Echinacea and goldenseal help cleanse the lymph glands. To relieve pain and swelling, apply a hot moist cloth over the boil to help soften. Never squeeze the boil as it can cause infection to spread to the bloodstream. Allow the boil to come to a head, then you can lance it with a sterilized needle. Sometimes a boil will drain on its own. When it's draining, cover with gauze and change the dressing several times a day to avoid spreading to other areas. Keep the infected area clean at all times. You can apply honey, which is one of the oldest remedies for stubborn oils. It also helps raise the boil to the surface when left on overnight. Bruised fresh cabbage leaves or a raw potato are great for their drawing power. Place directly over the boil and cover with gauze. Aloe vera is a natural antibiotic which may also be used. This can be applied several times throughout the day. Fresh figs can also be used by mashing them up and applying to a warm poultice. This remedy has been shown to pull out infections fast. In health food stores you can find either an ointment or salve containing goldenseal and myrrh. These are also good infection fighters. An old folk remedy indicates using a piece of bread soaked in milk or lemon juice. The area can then be covered with a loose bandage and left on overnight. If the boil becomes large, and they are recurring, surgical incision and draining may be needed. Consult your physician if the methods above are not working, as antibiotics may be indicated if the infection gets into the bloodstream.

They are really little skin toned bumps on my face and i don't enjoy having. when i squeeze it stringy white stuff like comes out., not puss. what are these bumps called? and are there any home remedies for getting rid of them? i know for a fact theyre not pimples and i use clearasil dailly face wash cleanser

Don't worry, those are probably just pimples or skin flaws. The white stuff might be a type of puss but you should check with a dermotologist if it is really bothering you. The dermo might know some ways to get rid of it.

I've had it for about a year i think it may be an in grown hair but it still hasn't came out. seems to get bigger very slowly white stuff comes out when i squeeze it. it's under the skin. any help would be appreciated and any treatment also.

If it is along the circumcision line, then it is one of the very common "benefits" of circumcision. When the skin is cut and heals after circumcision, many of the glands in the skin are cut and blocked. When the glands become active at puberty, these blockages result in the build-up of secretions and skin debris inside the glands, which cause these little tunnels to fill up with material which can be discharged when squeezed . Nothing here that a doctor is going to be interested in.

First off, i know this is gross/disturbing so bear with me (and serious answers only please!) about 3 months ago, i noticed a pea-sized bump under my labia skin about an inch above my clitoris and a little to the right. around the same time, i noticed i'd constantly have a white coating around my clitoris and inner lips that i would wipe away, but it would come back a few hours later (cultured for bv/yeast, came back negative). this white coating usually had a bad smell and felt kind of like playdough (it kinda rolled into tiny balls when i'd try to wipe it away). i was stumped as to where it was coming from because my discharge was normal. now, tonight i finally realized that this white coating was coming from this lump under my skin. i was looking around "down there" and noticed the lump had some white stuff coming out of it. i squeezed all of this "stuff" out of the lump; it was very foul-smelling and very waxy in texture... so strange. i think i squeezed all the waxy/odorous stuff out of it because there is no longer a lump. the lump wasn't particularly painful, only uncomfortable when touched. soo... lump under skin above clitoris, apparently leaking very waxy/hard and odorous discharge... does anyone know what the hell this lump could've been?? i'm so disturbed...

It sounds like it could have been an infected hair follicle. Especially your description of the texture & odor of the "pus" that you squeezed out of it. These follicles don't have to be in the direct area of patches of hair. They all present the same type of discharge no matter where they're found on the body. Don't be terribly surprised if it comes back from time-to-time. After you have removed the pus from the lump, make sure you clean the area with a mild antiseptic. Don't worry about it ... but, it wouldn't hurt to tell your ob/gyn about it during your next visit.

I have little white lumps from what looks like blackheads, where pus has been trapped underneath the skin. i can get it out by squeezing it but i want smooth even skin without having to do that! ive tried exfoliating and loads of other stuff but nothing works... please help! they are not large bumps or anything out of the ordinary, just wanted some advice for some p[products to use ect...

Every now and again i will get a bump on the edge of my anus that is under the skin. it's like it's almost inside of me. it is completely painless and does not itch or anything. the only reason i noticed it was there was from wiping. one time i just squeezed it with my fingers to see what would happen and i could feel it disappear in between my fingers like i crushed it. it was completely painless and actually kind of satisfying, but when i looked at my thumb and index finger there was a white substance like i had just popped a giant zit/pimple. i don't think it's a pimple because it felt like a round bump completely separate from my skin almost under the skin and was not at all painful like a pimple and it leaves behind a lot more white stuff than a pimple would. it didn't bleed or anything, but ever since then one appears every few weeks and i just squeeze it again. each time it goes away and i'm left with a white substance on my fingers. is this anything i need to worry about? i've read up on hemorrhoids and i'm sure it is not a hemorrhoids (no pain, itching, bleeding, or discoloration) just a slightly hard bump that disappears when i squeeze it and leaves a white substance on my fingers.

i think you need to get this thing checked ..maybe to examine this white substance microscopically

I have them on my arm and on my thighs.. they look like goosebumps. if you squeeze the bumps, little white stuff comes out. i've had it all my life and i have no idea what it is! does anyone know what it is and how to get rid of it? everyone in my family has it too. i've been putting lotion on, and it helps a little but it doesn't get rid of it all. do you know what i have? thanks for taking the time to answer! =]

It sounds like you have something called Keratosis Pilaris. I have it too. You said it looks like goosebumps, right? It's basically an excess of Keratin in your skin that causes bumps to form over hair follicles . You can use all the lotion you want, but it never seems to completely help. supposedly you can use something called KP duty, its available at Sephora. I've never used it, but its supposed to work well.

Went to the doctor because i had a few enlarged white bumps on scrotum. they move somewhat under the skin. they are hard like bbs. i just got them and never had one pretty big before. i was afraid it was some sort of std. they're not like warts. they're dome shaped, smooth, and move around a little. i asked the doctor is it an std and he took one look at them and said "not one i've ever seen". still they white bumps are there. i did shave about a month ago down there and they just started popping up now. they don't hurt but a few smaller ones i've squeezed and a little white string of stuff came out the smaller ones. almost like a zit. the big one though is harder and won't pop. almost like a cyst. it doesn't look like a wart or anything like that. anybody else have these. i just started getting these. will they go away on there own? i don't want surgery and it doesn't bother me. what are these things. the gp said something like folliculitous or cyst but not like an std or like a wart.

Every pore in your body, including in private areas, can produce sweat, which means they can become clogged just like pores on your face, neck, and shoulders. I've never shaved down there, but I have had some pores that were clogged. For the most part, they will go away on their own just like other clogged pores/pimples, especially if you take special care to clean yourself properly. Since you shaved down there about a month ago, I imagine the hair is just starting to really grow back. You may be experiencing an ingrown hair, which is exactly what it sounds like: the hair gets trapped under a layer or two of skin, but the follicle continues to produce new hair, so it just grows under the skin. If it's not painful, then you may want to wait a little bit and see what happens, but if they get larger or painful, then you need to see a doctor right away. There's no sense in letting it go too far so that you have to have surgery or something. Honestly, if the pore was getting big enough you were concerned about it being a cyst, I'm surprised the doctor didn't look at it more closely. I'm not sure how to get rid of it on your own, but I suggest you look up information on ingrown hairs as, without being a doctor or having seen your privates, that's what I would guess it is.
