weight gain is common with depro... The diet pills are a bit extreme but if you stop taking it and haven't lost the weight or still on depro you may want to reconsider. I gained a lot more pounds and have had a heck of a time loosing that weight. But you are the master of your domain... if you don't think it is better seek another doctor or ask for alternatives.

I recently had to get state aid health insurance. my previous doctor at kaiser prescribed me a low dosage diet pill and it worked great for me. problem is that the prescription ran out as did my health insurance. does anyone know if a free woman's clinic doc will prescribe the medication again to me? i know the state insurance won't cover the pills, but i am willing to pay for them.

Women's clinics are for reproductive health. You can go to a general free clinic at a hospital and explain the situation.

I am 22 years old,5ft 6.5 inches 163 lbs. i used to be 145 but i had a pacemaker implantation sugery that did not allow me to be active for 1.5 months and i gained 20 lbs. now i am not able to exercise at all because if i excert myself my heart goes faster than 170 in a matter of minutes and my oxygen goes low 83. or is there a otc pill that is good like hoodia??

If excercise is increasing your heart rate that much and causing a low 02 sat something is wrong. Go back to your cardiologist and find out what is going on before you even consider asking for diet pills. Something is wrong that needs to be corrected first.

I have been through it all and know what's it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can't be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I've worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes. Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight. First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can't eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising... This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it's good for the heart. However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It's so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I've found a great addition to help any one out, it's a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don't get all crazy on me and say diet pills don't work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn't meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. I'm not sure of any specific doctors but I just think you're better off making an appointment with your doctor and asking him. Thats just your best bet.
