| Anyone who claims that "my
body, my choice" $hit when it
comes to abortion.....
as long as its your body that ends
up rotting in a land fill under a
pile of medical waste, then fine,
it is your decision, but last time
i checked it was your unborn childs
life you were taking, not your
own.
yeah, it might be your body, but
its not your choice.
if you want to get an organ removed
or plastic surgery or something,
then knock yourself it, in that
scenario, it is your body and you
may do with it what you wish.
but how ignorant and selfish do you
have to be to claim that just
because the baby happens to be
growing in your womb, that you all
of a sudden get to choose wether it
lives or dies??
its not your body, its another body
inside your body, 2 completely
seperate people.
to claim that you have the right to
decide the fate of a baby
you're carrying is as
rediculous as saying a siamese twin
can shoot the other twin dead, and
it wouldn't matter a bit,
because technically, 'its
their body'. pfft
take a step out of your ignorant
little selves for a second and
acknowledge the reality that
another human life being added to
existence is a process far above
and beyond anything you have
authority over.
you might have a baby in your
belly, but that whole concept is
bigger than your own existence, you
dont automatically become the boss
of human reproduction the second a
baby decides to take form within
your womb, if you become pregnant,
your physical body is lending
itself to a much higher power than
your own, and it owns you, not the
other way around.
and there can be no debate about
when a life begins, when cells
start to form within a mother that
aren't her own, obviously,
something else is present.
its called a human f*cking being in
the earlier stages of life.
if we consist of only a few cells,
apparently we dont even classify as
a human being, yet microscopic,
single cell organisms can live
their entire life in that form and
still acheive the status of a
living creature.
either way, its irrelivant at what
stage of gestation you terminate
the baby because no matter when,
you've just denied the baby an
entire life outside the womb.
as far as i'm concerned, if
conception occurs, then the ball
has already started rolling on
another human life being started,
at that point, every necessary
peice is in place for that
conception to then progress to a
baby being born and an entire life
being lived.
any act that cuts that process
short, at any point, is as much
murder as anything, because
you're denying someone life.
in theory, abortion is worse than
killing a new born baby, atleast if
a baby is born he gets to draw
breath, which is one more wordly
pleasure than an aborted baby will
ever be afforded.
and ofcourse there's scenario
where a baby is a result of a
rape.
i can completely acknowledge that
in this scenario, the mother
hasn't freely assumed any
responsibility associated with
raising a child, so her life should
not be burdened by something like
that.
but at the same time, why end a
life to acheive this?
with thousands of childless couples
out there overflowing with love to
give, why leave their lives empty
and cut short that of an innocent
baby just because better solutions
aren't in place?
if we could develop an adoption
process that itsn't tied down
with red tape and impossible
waiting periods, and that
specifically catered for the
fostering of rape-babies, then in
the end, the mothers life can be
left as unchanged as possible, the
baby gets to live its life and a
family receives a little bundle of
joy...does anyone else see this as
a more positive solution than
scraping a semi-developed fetus
from a rape victims womb, only to
throw it in the bin?
and plus, whats going to be better
for a rape victims recovery, giving
the poor, blameless child a shot at
life and preventing any more
victimisation to come from her
rape, or to have to deal with the
guilt of aborting an unborn baby,
on top of all she's just been
through?
instead of playing god and
aimlessly picking and choosing
which babies get the chance to be
born, based on our own matters of
convinience, perhaps we should look
more at deciding the life or death
of those who've actually had
the time on earth to proove
themselves either worthy or not of
their existence.
as far as i'm concerned, if
you wanna start murdering unborn
babies, flush all the useless, scum
bag, wastes-of-space stumbling
destructively about the planet with
unpunished beligerence first.
mmmmhhhm - nice assumption,
completely wrong though.
firstly, i'm neither a
democrat or a republican, i'm
actually australian if you can
beleive a world exists outside your
own nation, so those
america-specific political views
are irrellevant to me.
secondly, i don't subscribe to
any mainstream political views.
and thirdly, i'm not close
minded or homophobic in the least,
i'm all for gay marriage and
many other left wing ideals, i just
draw the line at murdering
helpless, defenseless babies
i'm sorry.
and correct me if i'm wrong,
but isn't the whole pro-choice
idea about letting people make
their own decisions and not having
their fate decided for them?
yet you want to make the choice on
the babies behalf, decide their
fate for them....and then you call
the whole thing "pro
choice"??
haha, nice one.
beverley - wars that kill hundreds
of thousands of innocent people are
legal too, saudi arabia has just
made it legal for old men to marry
9 year old girls.....you cool with
that?
i mean, as long as you form your
moral opinions based on what the
government and law makers tell you
to think and beleive?
if you don't think
there's a fight to be fought
around the issue of killing babies,
then somethings wrong with you.
bash - nice one, let the corrupt,
government controlled supreme court
decide who holds authority over
life and death, like its theirs to
give in the first place.
also, i was unaware that there were
3 millions american kids looking
for foster homes, obviously
national treasures of yours like
madonna and angelina jolie were
just as oblivious to this fact when
they went half way across the world
to adopt as well.
i'm sure there are plenty of
willing parents with households
open to these kids, you might wanna
talk to the red tape mad
beaurocracy acting as the middle
man in this situation about the
delay though.
i dont know about over there, but
in australia, there's a 5 year
waiting period after only applying
to adopt, not a very effecient way
to get kids into homes. flaws in
the adoption system shouldn't
lead to us killing babies though.
continued.....
also, i'm all for gay couples
and single parents adopting and if
there was anything i could do to
speed up the legislative process i
would. i think you'll find
though, the one's that have
such a major moral issue with to
people of the same sex falling in
love are the very same people who
smile upon and sanction the
methodical murder of unborn
children, so once again, you might
want to speak to them and enquire
what their true motives are.
and while i hope those millions of
kids find homes, i think
there's more of a
responsibility on a mother to
provide a home for the child that
she's carrying than for a
stranger to adopt a child.
and i have great concern for the
children already in this world, but
the work that needs to be done to
fix those social problems are all
long, drawn out solutions that take
a lot of logistical planning and
execution, by people of much higher
social standing than myself.
contd....
it only takes someone like me to
paint a picture of common sense
though and then surely anyone with
half a brain could see the merit of
my argument and hopefully get on
side, so i'm doing all i can.
also if medical care, prenatal
care, food staples, birth control,
quality education, and community
outreach are all problems amplified
by otherwise aborted babies being
born, then tell me, whats the exact
number of babies we have to kill
before it solves all these
problems?
oh, and also, by your own logic,
you're basically saying that
the 3 children you have as a result
of other mothers being
compassionate enough to give their
child a chance at life are the very
same kinds of children you are now
saying should be aborted to help
fix societies ails.
so before you ask me how many kids
i'm willing to adopt into my
home to proove my point, you tell
me how many of your children
you're willing to give up to
help the education and health
system........none?
good - shut up
"get a life. seriously. you
don't like it then shut
up."
is anyone else worried that people
with this level of intellect are
weighing in on issues relating to
life and death?
oh, and quoting the catch phrase
"my body, my choice"
insn't enough to constitute an
argument, a few points and atleast
a little logic would help though.
how bout this for a new saying -
"your body, your
abortion"
unless you can acknowledge the
existence of another life, then
there must only be one in the room
to abort - yours.
and good riddance to another baby
killer i say.
If more people knew what abortion really was about, I think they would be angry. It is not as much about choice as it is about money.
Have you noticed that the abortion industry gives a huge amount of money to get those elected that will not only keep abortion legal...but often will expand it? Where do you think they get this money?
Just because something is legal does not mean it is good. Segregation was legal in the 50's Was it a good law? In was possible to get away with murder as long as the victim was the right color. Did this make the law right?
I ask those who want to give this answer a thumbs down...do you like to be used? Roe vs Wade is based upon lies:
The plaintiff for the Roe v. Wade case, Norma McCorvey, never even got an abortion after lying to her lawyers about being gang-raped. "When she found out the case went all the way to the Supreme Court and resulted in legalizing abortion in all 50 states, she was stunned" and attempted suicide. Sandra Cano, the "Doe" of the companion case known as Doe v. Bolton, claims that she was played as a pawn by her lawyer, who surreptitiously had her sign an affidavit stating that "she had applied for an abortion, had been turned down and had therefore sued the state of Georgia.... This is a lie," states Cano. She was even opposed to abortion, so the case was not even representative of her views.
This so called choice is not only about money however. Gender feminist use it for control. These same people who demand that the playing field be leveled in all other areas fight tooth and nail to keep men under their feet in any area they have the trump card. If this was a card game. they would demand the men share any high cards with them but they also demand the deck be stacked in their favor.
In case those who think a fetus is just a pile of tissue....remember that "pile of tissue" also belongs to another person...the FATHER.
A woman can choice to have a baby and make a man pay for 18 or more years, and notice I did not say father as often the man paying is not the father and can even prove it. Or if she is really vindictive and the father wants the baby, she can chose to abort it.
I have worked with several men who have told me their unborn baby was murdered by abortion. Some have fought to prevent it with law suits but of course, this ball was in her court because of the UNJUST laws in our land...laws which if reversed, these same people would demanding be changed to level the playing field.
