If you have had them for a long time, then its likely a bacteria causing pimples. If they are in a line sometimes then you have a parasite like scabies. If its a recent outbreak and you have a fever then its likely a virus like chicken pox or the measles.

i have a simular complaint . it statred out as psoriasis about 8 years ago, gradually bspots appeared that were very itchy, i sratch bthe till i am literally bleeding..The only things that helps to contain the plague is a combination of steroids and antibiotics,also wear cotton glove in bed at night and keep applying suitable antiseptic cream JOHN

My son just started getting these red bumps on arms,back,chest,neck and stomach within a 24 hour period. I took him to the dr and they said it was chicken pox. They dont look like chicken pox because there is not blistering. I had chicken pox already so they say if you had them you cant get them well I now have the same as my son and they itch so bad, and no they are not bed bugs. We were going on a walk when they started appearing. They are same size as chicken pox but some are clustered in three`s and they have a white little bump in middle.

my best friend has these bumps all over her body and its really gross. but now i have them and they started on my right thump like 5 months ago. now theyre all over me too. i noticed if you scratch them alot they dont bleed. this clear stuff starts comming out. then they itch even more. theyre just little bumps, some you cant even see. and i also noticed that hot water really irratates them. but ive tried everything and nothings helped. We have twin girls (2months), baby a has red bumps over her body and face baby b none. both are breastfed. the bumps are not itching her nor is she running a fever. for all accounts she is happy, eating normally. we run a humidifier at night, try not to keep her to warm and keep both of them clean. has anyone had the same experiences? if so what did you do to treat the symptoms? any and all help would be appreciated! thank you in advance.

I would call your doctor. My son had red bumps on his his body when he was about 6 months old and it ended up being a spider bite that he had a bad reaction to and it ended up spreading through out his whole body . I caught it early so he was fine but I would call the doc if I were you

After eating a tomato soup yesterday i stared itching and big red bumps around my body. arms and then knees and now going around and feels like burns…is anyone had that before? i am not sure if it is a food reation. i have never had anything like that and i eat tomatos offen. is anybody knows please help me because i have no ideia.

It's odd the only sure way to tell is if you eat it again and the same things happens. Take a benadryl next time - and lots of water. Keep a total food journal in the event you react again.

My baby is a one year old boy and he has red bumps all over his face and body. the red bumps are accompanied by a red blotchiness around the area of the bumps on the face.

That really sounds like an allergic reaction but it could also be an illness (measles, rubella, etc.) so it's definitely worth a trip to the doc in either case. Even if it is an allergic reaction, if it's on his whole body that can be serious because it will often affect the airway too, so he needs to be checked out.

I have had these red bumps on my body for about the last month. it seems to be getting worse, they dont itch at all. there are more red bumps, and as time passes, they get bigger. it is not chicken pocks, i have been to the dovtor already, and they had no expanation as to what it might be. i have these little red bumps on my chest, alot on my arms, a few on each leg, and some on my back. i also thought it could be an allergic reaction to somthing, but nothing has worked. please help if you know what may be causing this. again, i have already been to one doctor, and she had no idea what it might be.

If your doctor can't figure it out by examining them, then its even less likely that someone can figure this out without even seeing the bumps. There are about 50 different types of rashes, and each type of rash can have as many as a dozen possible causes. Maybe your best bet is to schedule an appointment with a dermatologist.

I just found out my dog has fleas and he usually sleeps with us. my 6 day old is getting red marks all over his body and i was just wondering if any one thinks its flea bites and not baby acne. what should i do if its either?

It could be either. My 6 day old (our babies have the same birthday!) had a rash all over her body for the first couple of days after she was born, and my midwife said it looked completely normal. It's my baby's skin adjusting to her new environment. On the other hand, if it's just popping up now, it could definitely be the fleas. Take care of the flea problem (which I'm sure you're doing) and take your baby in to be checked if it doesn't disappear, or if you just want to ease your mind or get a professional opinion. I woke up in the middle of the night scratching everywhere in my body and till i couldn't stand it i stood up to check my body and i saw these little red bumps all over my body, arms, thighs, chest, back, they are sooo itchy is it measles? because my dad hasn't taken me to get my shots yet. whoa, i woke up this morning and it just disappeared.

It might've been chicken pox given the fact that you haven't had your shots for it yet. Even though they went away, you still should go to your doctor and make sure you're still not contagious.

They are itchy and red. they don't bleed or nothing. they're just small red bumps that form randomly. i think it may be an allergic reaction, what do i do?

I would recommend to go and see the doctor,my daughter has the same problem and shes constantly itching at these red marks on her skin,when i took her in the doc said that it is eczema and he gave her some sorta cream that took the itch away and the redness also faded. It might also be a allergic reaction to something. Hope you get this problem solved!!

It could be a rash from the heat. Or it could be something internal causing you to break out. You should see a doctor. Yahoo wouldnt be the best place for this question. Good luck!
