Will a 1500 calorie diet for a few weeks help me to lose body fat?

I'm trying to lose body fat right now cause i have a work competition "biggest loser" where i've gotta lose the most body fat percentage to win. i've started a 1500 strict balanced meal calorie diet for a few weeks. i'm 6'2, about 165 lbs. and 14% body fat. will the diet help me to effectively lose body fat combined with 3 brief intense weightlifting workouts a week?

Too low. you are going to shut down you metabolism. 6'2 165 is already kind of lanky. To better your bodyfat % lift three times per week (make sure you include squats) and eat approximately 2200 calories. I still think that is too low for your weight and gender but it should allow you to drop fat without sacrificing muscle (which will actually raise your bodyfat percentage)
