well i have had cysts for about 3 days now and my moms a medical assistant and this really does work. First you put water in a microwave get hot but not hot enough to burn your skin. But it on a wash cloth and put it on the cysts for as long as you can. hen put some tooth paste (colgate) and put a band aid over it. A head should show up the next day or the day after the next! Then you pop it! Stuff may still be inside so clean the cysts with alcohol or peroxide and put more tooth paste on it and put a band aid over it! the rest should come out the next day ! Keep puing ooth paste on it and cleaning it until all the stuff comes out. I recommened that you do this on the body and not the face.

 Q. Best mineral makeup for acne and cyst prone skin? i have been using everyday minerals makeup for about a year & am looking for something else to change to. the coverage is good but is causing some serious acne problems for me. i'm 31 years old and look like a 14 year old hitting puberty, never have i had an acne problem this bad.
i need recommendations for mineral makeup that won't do this. and not bare minerals, the stuff is too expensive and i'm not buying it. any other ladies out there with really sensitive skin that has found something that won't irritate, won't cause acne or cysts, has very good coverage (i need it now that acne has screwed my face up), lasts a long time, and is not expensive?

Q. I have a cyst in the middle of my lower lip that won't go away!!!!? here's the thing:
i have perfect skin naturally. a serious zit is a rare occasion for me.
however, there is this cyst on the middle of my lower lip, right on the bottom, that will not die. i have had it since sixth grade. i'm going to be a junior in high school. i really just want all my skin to be perfect, including my lips! it won't go away. i pop it, it grows back, etc. what do i do?
I suggest you go to the doctor or the dermatologist. They should be able to help you.

Q. Cyst on face that won't go away? i have had this cyst on my face for over a month now. i went to the dermatologist about 2 weeks ago and got it drained. which relieved most of the pain. but now it's like a hardened lump of skin about the size of a quarter. does anybody have any experience with this? i've seen a dermatologist and they said it would go away but i'm not sure that it will. it looks like it might be a keloid scar or something but i'm not sure. how long do you think it will take to finally go away?
also, i don't have any other signs of acne on my face, it is generally very clear.

i recently had a cyst removed. i waited 6 months to go to the derm. because i thought it would go away just like my other ones had. it got really hard and when they drained it, that sucker kept coming right back. so now i have to go get plastic surgery to remove the scar and excess skin.
and the doctor told me that there is no other way to get rid of it... trust me i tried! and it sucked because i had it all throughout my freshman year.
i tried waiting it out because i had other ones on my face that went away... but turns out they weren't cysts.

Q. Girls : major acne help please!!? so i know this question has been asked like a billion times but please help!
i'm 16 yrs old and have been suffering from acne since i was 11. i have super oily skin and like moderate acne - no cysts or painful nodules but it refuses to go away which is very frustrating!
i've tried irtually ever over the counter medication like proactiv and acne free but nothing works. i've even gone to doctor and gotten retinoids and benzaclin but those didn't work either - benzaclin made skin worse :(
i want to go to dermatologist and since my skin won't work w/ topical they might suggest oral contraceptives (birth control) but my mom has said no because she thinks once my skin clears i'll start sleeping aroun w/ guys (she's never had zits by the way)
my slef-esteem's pretty low - i'm ugly and sometimes i cry because i'll never get a boyfriend if my skin looks like crap
i shy away from mirrors and pics and my friends don't understand because they get like one or two zits that always disappear.
i try wearing makeup but that doesn't work and i hate wearing caked on makeup. i tried going w/o but it still didn't clear up.
girls that have gone through this or are going through this please, i'm desperate for help!

do you have bangs? tie them up when at home, or whenever you can. i like neutrogena's pink grapfruit scrub. smells super good and works super well. i dont recommend clean and clear, but i like neutrogena brand. i like the neutrogena wave because it makes skin really soft and removes dirt and stuff from your face. i recommended it to my friends, and they all love it. if you have red, red pimples, i would use clean and clear acne spot advantage. its a small tube filled with salicylic acid that reduces the size of pimples. some great tips you can use are on youtube. i like looking at bubzbeauty videos, they help a great deal(: i use cleansers in the shower after shampooing my hair. i use it during the time when my hair is soaking up the conditioner. the steam from the hot water opens your pores up. rinse with warm water and continue on with showering(: i shower at night, and wash my face again in the morning. putting cucumber slices on your face for a few minutes each day helps a LOT. eat a lot of tomatoes and strawberries too(: my mom tells me to eat a lot of sushi and fruits for vitamins. drink a lot of water, keep hydrated and email me for more info. good luck!

Q. What should i do about this cyst, doesn't hurt, won't go away!!? a few months ago i got a big cyst/pimple on my right cheek, it almost felt like two pimples merged as one. i have to admit i kept popping it whenever it came to head. .
but then it stopped coming up to head and just settled deep under the skin of my cheek and it's been there for a few months already, it doesn't hurt at all but it's very big and hard. you can actually see a small indentation in my skin where it's at...
what should i do?? see a doctor? leave it alone? help!!

GO to a doctor. If you popped it alot the irritation might be embedded in your lower skin layers (not good!) or if you have a cyst (doubtful) you need to go to a doc anyway, a cyst is a small parasite which accidentally found its way into your system, it does not like it there so it burrows out of your digestive system into a large muscle mass, your cheek is not such a mass, so most likely you just have an irritated pimple...GO TO THE DOC!

How do i treat my hamster after a cyst? my hamster is a female syrian hamster. she developed a cyst and it stayed for about a week or less. the day before it popped some part of the skin turned black. there is a big hole in my hamsters skin and she won't let me pick her up. when i touched the cyst before it didn't seem to hurt her. i can still put her in her ball and she moves just fine. can i make it heal faster? is it safe to put antibiotic? please answer. thank you so much.

Is it possible for spiders to lay eggs underneath skin on your face?? i seen this on a movie and now im really scared! i have a bump on the side of my head about the size of a larger pea and its really hard and hurts to touch or lay on....i thought it was like an oily underneath the skin pimple at first but now i know its not because its been there for four days, it won't pop, and it isn't like gooshy...its solid! is it maybe spider eggs because i found a spider in my room the next day!! not to mention i have been really dizzy and lightheaded lately...but my mom thinks its just a cyst and that it will go away, but i can't sleep barely!
i can bet money its not a zit, it developed randomly one night, and its not red or anything its just a big bump that hurts when its touched and about 10 minutes after its touched the pain finally goes away!

is this a bump on your scalp? its hidden by hair?

Q. Will the skin beneath my goatee beard still absorb a cream? i have to apply some (prescribed) cream to some spots/cysts on my chin area. now it's been examined by the doctor, i also want to grow back my beard to cover the spots up. my beard won't be thick/bushy, just enough to hide them (i'm quite self-conscious about them). obviously i realise that the skin will absorb the cream better without any hair there, but will it still absorb it ok with the beard there if i apply it thoroughly?

Mate, it should work no probs! Make sure you rub it in thoroughly though and you may have to use a tiny bit more of the cream to ensure that it does its job!
I had a few spots on my face that i covered up with my beard too. The acne cream was able to get through a fairly bushy beard and do its job!

Q. Bad luck ,cancer,a cysts or skin condition? for the second time my female cat has fur matted in the same spot.the 1st time i thought it was gum.but this time the hair doesn't grow away from the skin and the surrounding skin feels like a rash is there,i can't tell for sure since she won't let me look at it. i have a vet appointment but was hoping someone out there might know what it is.
Do want I did and don't wait to long if it is cancer they can be traeted the same way we are tearted that if not tolate I wait to long with mine and had to put him down so don't prolong the vet have your cat checked as soon as you can it mighytg be nothing but I am not a vet so I can'tsay what it is I can only say what I know

Q. Any suggestion for removal of mucus cyst ganglion of thumb? had unsuccessful surgery twice? laser? radiation? cyst keeps opening on it's own and draining as the skin has become thin - afraid of infection. don't want surgery again as i feel it won't work a third time either.
