I usually have my period for 6 days and i think this is way to long, is there a way to shorten it?

I saw a few sites that said masturbating while on your period causes your body to produce a hormone which in return forces out the menstrual material quicker and causes it to be shorter length of time. other than birth control pills and contraceptives what are some natural ways?? and is the masturbating thing true?

Well, it kinda makes sense since orgasm is contractions of the uterus. But I've honestly never noticed a difference. I don't know if there's any natural ways that would work across the board for every woman, so trial and error (but please, check with your doctor before trying any herbal remedies) and you may find something that helps you.

For example, when i am slim my cycle is every 28 to 30 days. when i put on weight it gets longer and more irregular, from 35 to 45 days or so. 1) have your cycles ever changed in length? and if so what caused it? 2) if they're always the same length, are you slender, medium or overweight and how long is your cycle? thanks a lot for your answer.

For yrs,, and yrs. mine was anywhere from 28-36 days. - Thin built Got married still thin remained the same. Had children thin weight and days changed to 30 days. Now, I'm 50 yrs. old 5'8" 143 lbs. and the days are 24-28 days.

I came on my menstrual sunday, and it's now friday. early thurday it seemed as if i was off, but than later on that night i was bleeding again. i'm going to see my bf tomorrow and haven't seen him in almost two weeks and we're trying to have a baby, and want to start asap, is there anything i can do to like make it stop? i was thinking running that way it would all come out quicker, but i don't know.

Nope, you can't "speed" up your cycle. Your cycle has it's own time and you just have to wait it out.

Did anyone ever remember eating fast food on their first menstrual cycle? i remember when i was eleven i first got it, and my family stopped for a quick breakfast before my cousin's wedding, and we got mcdonald's. in the mass i ended up staying down in the basement throwing numerous times. i would go back up to the mass, but eventually i just stayed downstairs knowing i would get sick again. is there some sort of connection? that's never happened again. throwing up* numerous times.

Well, yes there is, it really depends on how strong your period lasts for and how heavy you were. The oil and grease is really bad when you have your period in general because it gives you cramps, which makes you nauseous. Also if you were in the car that could also be a cause because of motion sickness. Try to cut down on all fast food when you have your period.

I just started taking b.c. pills when my cycle started in an effort to prevent my cycle from returning at an inopportune time (an event is coming up). but, since i've started them my cycle hasn't stopped. how can i stop it quickly (like in a couple days)? i am making an appt with my doctor tomorrow, but i fear i won't get an appointment quick enough. any suggestions?

it will stop when it is done. taking BC when it started is too late, you have to take it before you ovulated 14 before.

Had a complete and natural miscarriage at 7 weeks on the 8th i started bleeding for it on the 6th. i went to my ob on the 25th he said to expect my period in a few weeks..i normally have a 32 day cycle so i am expecting my period on the 6th because he said in a few weeks and it would have be consistant with what he said. but every one tells me not to expect normal periods after a miscarriage but my ob said that this miscarriage was like a menstrual cycle so every thing should be fine and that right now i am at risk for pregnancy although it is safe we should wait one cycle. he tested my hormone levels to see if they were down and said if he would contact me if they were up that was 4 days ago and ive heard nothing..so my question is if my levels are down and he thinks my body is ovulating should my period come when expected? we really want to concieve again soon as we can. being that the dr told me i should expect my period should i even though every one tells me not to? also i had creamy white cm yesterday and the day before... then today hardly any and it is not creamy and dried fast.. what is my body be telling me?? help no one answers these any more!

i would phone the man up for test results to be n safe side.. i think the cm is telling you are about to ovulate ... i fell pregnant 2 weeks after a miscarraige back in 2004... also you do have normal regular cycles after miscarraige as ive had 2 of them. good luck and babydust to us all

I have been taking quick trim for awhile now and my period this month was lighter then usual, i did some research about this and i found out that some diet pills can, i was wondering if anyone else had this same problem and if i should be concerned? when i take them there are times i'll get really sick and horrible backaches

The best person to answer this would be your doctor, but diet pills are are a waste of money and don't work, and some have nasty side effects. It could be the pills that are making you sick. No pill, potion, patch or supplement will help. All you need to lose weight is a good healthy diet with lots of fruit and veg and exercise- it takes time and motivation. There is no quick fix :)
