I have zit near the bottom of my nose. i use astrigent but i don't want to have to use cover up every day too. i want to get rid of it as quickly as possible. please help!

You need to pop it, and then put toothpaste on it. The tooothpaste drys it out, and speeds up the process of it going away.

Curious of why pimples hurt if you touch them or poke them. also, i get random pimples (may be one in a month) on my chest or my thigh, why does that happen, isn't it only supposed to be on your face?

First once the pimple is forming it has to break into the skin first thats why it hurts when you touch it or not. Also, once you feel like its forming you should exfoliate it gently and put a small dot of acne cream where it hurts. Try not to touch it or pop it cause then it would make it red and bigger and hurt a lot more Second , you get random pimples because your skin isn't really that oily and they do form on your legs for some reason but that is totally normal this stuff happens to me too!

I woke up with a pimple on my forehead, and my head just hurts from it, especially when i touch it, it pains. why does this happen?

well popping it will make it feel better but then you will get some scar from it, i suggest use toothpaste ( the mint like colgate ) or u can get this cream that will help vanish that awful pimple , i think it made by Clearasil

Everytime in the middle of my cycle i get some pimples on my chin that hurt and get white heads. this means i will have my period. now, i have them and i am hoping i am pregnant, but the pimples make me think period is approaching. have you ever had this kind of pimples while pregnant and you also have them when period is approaching? thanks fr your help. i am 28. i always had acne. the only time my skin is good is when i take the pill :-(

Ah jump in the boat hunny! I usually get maybe one but not sore during my period...without fail. Now im 4 days from having my period ( if im not preg) and i had the worst breakout about a week too early...very sore blind ones that got pus in them later . When i was preg (but miscarried) i had the clearest skin ever.. So who knows whats going on with my hormones..not a fan of them i tell you! Good luck :)

I have a pimple by my nose that hurts sooo bad!!! it feels like a needle is being pushed into my skin! yet i have a few pimples on my forehead that i cant even feel.

There are kinds different pimples. There's a whitehead, a blackhead, and a cyst. A cyst is a painful swollen pimple that may take weeks to go away. You seems to have this kind of pimple. Make sure to not pick at it or pop it, as this may leave a scar. If you want it to go away fast, then go to a doctor, and he can give you a cortisone shot.

I hate blackheads and pimples hurt so much. i only want home remedies because everything else doesn't work, or it's too expensive. so only home remedies for no pimples and no blackheads. thanks!

mix baking soda and salt with a little water to form a paste, gently scrub your face, leaving some of the paste on your face, then splash a little apple cider vinegar onto your face. The salt will gently exfolliate your face, the baking soda softens the effect of the salt drying out your skin too much and adding the vinegar will make the soda foam up lifting the blackheads out of your pores. Only do this about once a week as it can be harsh to your skin to do so more often. For a daily face scrub mix 1 cup oatmeal, 1 cup powdered milk and 1 tablespoon salt in a blender and blend until it is a fine powder, mix with a little water to form and paste and wash your face with this daily. You will like the results.

This is probably a silly question. listen, you get a pimple on your face. its sore. it is red and has not head. you try and squeeze it with all your might but nothing happens. 6 to 8 hours later, it has a white head on it. so you try and squeeze it gently. it breaks and a little white puss comes out. you go to squeeze harder, nothing happens. now its really really sore. touching it hurts like crazy. half a day to a day go by and you leave it alone overnight. its still really sore in the morning. it again has a white head on it. you squeeze it gently and more white puss comes out. now that it is drained, you squeeze it hard and you feel a "pop". a hard white head comes out and it starts to bleed. after this, it does not hurt anymore. why is this? i also like to do this in public. i have tissues so why do people not like it? please do not tell me its bad to pop my pimples, i am already very much aware of the consequences and scaring. thanks in advance

A pimple is an infection of a sebaceous (oil) gland. The infection causes the redness and swelling. The buildup of pus causes pressure on the surrounding nerves, which in turn causes the pain. When you pop the pimple, you relieve the pressure, so the pain is also relieved. What you describe as a "hard white head" is the original oil plug which became infected and the more liquid pus is a secondary infection that is sometimes caused by or worsened by external factors--like repeated squeezing. People react negatively to pimple squeezing, as well as nose picking and ear cleaning in public because it is unsightly and unsanitary . They are ablutions better done in privacy.
