I have a big nose bump and a big nose. my friends are telling me, that they don't even notice and that my nose is not that bad, but i really hate it. i want to go to the rhinoplasty (i am a little bit scared) but that means i will have to wait for a few more years, and it costs a lot of money. so i was wondering, is there any way, to make my nose bump just a little bit smaller at home? please help! anything will help. ty

You can look on youtube for makeup tricks to make your nose look smaller, it sounds stupid but it really works.

I got my nose pierced three months ago and just recently formed a bump on the outside of my nose right by the piercing. there is not a bump on the inside. how can i fix this problem before it gets any worse?

Hot compresses & daily oil treatments can shrink it. If it grows at all, go talk to a piercer about it, but if it doesn't grow at all, keep up with the cleaning and it'll shrink eventually.

I had a nose piercing and i have a big bump grow. at one point it was massive. the only thing that helped was tea tree oil and sitting in a steam room. finally i just took out the piercing and the bump almost fully went away, but it's been 3 months or so and there's still a small bump left. how should i get rid of the last bit of the bump? it's the size of a big big pimple.

The same thing happened to me and it took like 6 months for it to fully go away im not even kidding! lol ugh! but for those six months i always did a sea salt soak and tea tree oil and from the sea salt it kept getting more and more dry and then it kinda just flaked off.

I got my nose pierced about a month and a week ago, and i've had this red bump beside the piercing for about 3 weeks. i've put tea tree oil on it 3 times a day, and have avoided putting makeup around the area of the piercing. why isn't is going away and how can i get it to go away?

It could either be a small infection, which in time will go away. It takes awhile. or a clogged pore, basically a zit that doesn't form a head, this is less likely since its been 3 weeks. Medication will speed up the process if you feel like going to a doctor to have it looked at.

Last night i bumped my nose hard against a table (dont ask), it hurt soo freakin bad i thought i had broke my nose, i tried putting ice on it and the next day i noticed there was this boney bump it didnt hurt like it did the night before but still..i am wondering did i break my nose or damage cartilage or what? how can i get rid of it? i want my straight nose back:(

idk wat to do but u should go to the docter to ask if they could take an x-ray.

I recently got my nose pierced (about 3 weeks ago) and i loved it! however, a bump has formed near the piercing and when i asked the place where i got it pierced what to do, they told me to just keep cleaning it. i have done so and the bump has only gotten worse. does anyone know how to get it to go away fast? please help! thanks!

use a knife to cut it off. worked for me.

I'm a 16 year old girl with a bump in my nose that you can't tell is there from the front, but you can see from the side. it really bothers me, because i think it's my biggest physical flaw, second to my acne, but it's clearing up, and acne can be fixed, but a nose bump can't.

Sure.. a bump in ya nose can give u character. It makes u unique and I'm sure many find ya "flaw" attractive. ~:) Rock on with ya bump and be glad it's not a wart! ;)

I got my nose pierced about a month ago. this past week i started to get that bump around my piercing..i've read to use sea salt so i started to do that 3 times a day for the past couple of days. my bump now is like white,it looks like it needs to burst or something lol. is this normal? i;ve had my nose pierced before and got the bump, and i dont think its infected b/c its not showing any of the signs or doesnt hurt. should i keep using the sea salt for the next week or so...i hope it goes away!! =(

There is two things that it could be... it could be a Keloid or a cyst bumb. Now Keloids are usualy white but that is just a root, and a cyst bumb is just hardend scar tissue. If you put some healing ointment on it and it does not go away go see a doctor/dermatologest.

Ok im 15 and where your nose starts by the eyes there is a bump, also known as the nasal bump. my nose started to go like this about half a year ago. but why do i have it as i have never injured my nose, and neither of my parents have this same shaped nose.

I dont know if its the same thing but i (for as long as i can remember) have a raised bump on my nose in about the same spot. Mine is just a bit if raised flesh with a freckyl in teh middle (not on all of it) I wouldnt worry unless its growing or affecting your breathing etc..
