They do with surgery, if theres pain you got a tumor that can kill you. I would go to the doctor right away!

I tend to get them about once a month. its just starting again now, under my skin getting red. it will never get a head, just get swollen and very noticeable. i have however zineryt and sudocrem, also i have a moisturiser. what should i do? have a shower, face wash more often, apply heat, or ice to reduce swelling, then what? after ice do i put on sudocrem, or zineryt. look them up if you dont know what they are.

ughhhh.....those are the worst. Don't rub it or pick at it. It will only make it more noticeable. Just leave it alone and go to a doctor as soon as possible. They should give you something for it. Trust me though.....don't pick at it.

I have tried just about everything to get them to go away. they're so bad that i can't even go to school tomorrow. i tried freezing them but that didnt help. i may just cut them off if the dermatologist doesnt help tomorow? any ideas on this or anything that "actually" works to get rid of them

When you say 'cyst' do you mean acne, zits, pimples??? If its acne there are great medicines available over the counter. But the doctor may just put you on antibiotics to clear it up. If it is cysts then they may need to be seen by a doctor

It's on my cheek and it looks like i got punched in the face. school starts in two weeks and i want it to be gone by then. can someone with experience help me with this? it's not an ordinary pimple, its below the skin and you can't pop it. i don't even want to leave the house! help! ohh and i tried putting hot water on it and that doesnt work, &&&& please don't tell me to wait, because it looks horrible!!!!!

The scar tissue will gradually fade, but some people scar more than others. It sounds like you are one of these people. Drug stores sell products that help fade scars. Talk to your pharmacist

The two itchy acne spots feel hard to the touch like something is lodged inside. i am able to pop it after awhile but there's a lot of pus and blood. what should i do? i use dhc products which have helped my skin a lot, but i just can't seem to get rid of these two itchy cysts. please help!

relax! I used to get those, too. annoying, aren't they? but they are not harmful! just...painful. Keep putting medicine on it and DON'T TRY TO POP THEM ANYMORE! popping this type of acne will result in scarring. They should go away within a week.

I am 26 years old. i have been getting bad skin on my face since the age of 20. i get spots on my face, redness on my face, there is always something skin related badness on my face. sometimes i get a few little spots on my cheeks, or chin, neck, throat... sometimes they are big hard ones. skin badness has also given me 3 cysts. all the cysts are not swollen, and nothing can be done of them, but it seems my skin problems just will not go away, hence, getting more cysts and i still get bad skin. i dread to look in the mirror each morning to see what skin damage i have. i seem to wake up and i seem to get like tiny whiteheads, and obviously i have to get rid of whiteheads as everybody can see them and so goo comes out. sometimes these go wrong though and make my skin very red. i have sensitive skin too. i just have to lightly scratch my skin and it comes up as a great huge welk on my face and takes over an hour to settle down. so what have i done to try and stop the skin problems myself? people would say try creams etc. i have tried numerous creams. clearasil, savalon, germolene to name a few. i have tried tea tree oil products. i have tried quite a few different face washes, and face scrubs... the latest being no7 face wash and face scrub. i have been to the doctors many times, where they have given me tablets... these tablets were not working and so i used a stronger doseage and they did not work either. i have used special creams from the doctor and these do not work either as i continue to get bad skin. i have seen 4 different doctors about my skin, including a specialist, and so have exhausted my doctor outlet so to speak as it seems they cannot do anything about it as i continue to get bad skin. as i type this i have a severly red mark on my face that is noticeable from 1 mile away, im like a beacon. i have also changed my eating habbits too. i never eat chocolate anyway, or crisps, or sweets. i eat fresh food, i drink normally, rare alcohol. i am not fat either. i am 5 foot 8, and weigh 10 stone (140lbs). i dont eat junk stuff, so why oh why do i get bad skin!!!! people eat burger kings everyday and drink to excess and they have incredible skin, why am i getting it, what can i do to stop this! my bad skin depresses me so much, so much so that i only work a couple days of week, as i cannot leave the house because of my skin as it depresses me to a point where i do not want anybody to see it, not even my parents. i cannot forward plan anything as if i wake up on a day, and have bad skin, i cannot leave the house. this is a vicisous circle and i have had some councelling sessions on this too, but i have always said talking does not help... if you solve the skin problem, you solve the problem. if i had fine skin i would be fine! i am at my wits end. i am missing out on so much because of this. people would say ok you have bad skin but nobody cares, and that only i care... well thats the thing i do care, because i care alot about what people think and think of me. i dont want people seeing this bad skinness. i have resulted to putting makeup on but this does not work sometimes, but really come on, i shouldnt even be using makeup but this shows the level of what my skin is. i have told the doctors and councellers exactly how i feel, i havent left anything out with them and yet, i continue to get horrendous bad skin... i just want help and the skin to be fine! and to let me actually have a life, because working a couple days a week for a 26 year old is only gonna harm me long term in the financial time, with missing out on a fulltime wage for 6 years. i need my skin fixed somehow... sorry if i bored you.

Im a 23 yr old female with polycystic ovarian syndrome and irritable bowel syndrome i m on the yasmin pill and my diet and exersize is spot on. any one know any reason why this cyst are accouring or have any tips how to get rid of them ( on my face ) its honestly driving me insane feeling these bumps under my skin and having to go to the doctor monthly a week after my cycle to get my breasts checked..

I am 17 years old now and i first got acne when i was going through puberty at age 13. my problem at that age was that i put in hair gel and wore hats, so i had huge white heads on my forehead and temples. afterward it got better, then for a moment it got extremely bad in my freshman year in high school. the acne advanced to my forehead and temples again, then i saw some pimples on my cheeks for the first time. in my sophomore year after trying countless prescribe medications and face washes, i went to see a dermatologist and was put on accutane. it worked! after about 3 months, my acne was virtually gone. i did suffer the consequences though. my skin got severely dried out, along with my lips, thus they were dried, chapped, and constantly cracking and bleeding. since i was taken off of the medication early because of the side effects, the pimples came back. in the summer, they sort of went away, but now early in my junior year, i have pimples, for the first time all over my face. they aren't too bad, but they cover every part. there are little bumps on the middle of my forehead, big pimples on my jawline for the first time ever and i had pimples on my cheeks ever since i was off accutane. since i haven't seen the dermatologist in a while, i have been looking up natural remedies for acne. i tried honey masks, toothpaste, only washing my face twice a day, never touching/picking pimples, drinking plenty of water, and not eating fried/greasy foods. my dad and his brothers had sever cysts and acne as a teenager and into twenties, so i know its hereditary. but what can a seriously do to get rid of the pimples once and for all? my next appointment is next week, and i am thinking of getting back on the accutane. i am a male and i contantly work out. i play soccer for my high school and work out at the gym. afterward, i always wipe my face with cleansing pads then shower.

it sounds like you've tried just about everything we could suggest. i'd get back on the accutane and stock up on chapstick and face moisturizer like nobody's business . you can also try zinc supplements, if you haven't already. they help lower the freaked-out testosterone that worsens acne.

Hi everybody, i'm starting to really get depressed because of this. i am a very clean person and i take really good care of myself but there just seems to be nothing i can do about the acne on my face. it started this summer randomly, i am 19 but a very late bloomer in terms of puberty. but the zits i get seem to be worse than just the average hormonal ones. they are all over my cheeks, jaw, and chin area and i keep thinking i'm making progress but i never do. i have tried everything, eating only good foods, tons of water every day, proactiv for 6 weeks, nothing works. everyone says benzoyl peroxide is like this miracle cure for acne but it does nothing for my skin except make it red, irritated, and dry. my skin is naturally just not greasy or oily at all which is why i cannot figure out how the hell this keeps happening. i have also been washing my pillowcase all the time, i never never touch my face unless i'm cleansing (which i do twice a day) i am starting to get like painful cysts and stuff and i just need some advice, anything; especially if any of you are at all familiar with my skin type (dry but not ridiculously so, pretty fairskinned). thank you so much, i could really use a push in the right direction. i do not want to do accutane because 1. my skin isn't even oily so i don't know how much it would help and 2. id like to try to do this in a way that wont change my lifestyle lke the side effects of depression and everything with accutane

Dude I really do feel for you I have suffered from this stubborn disease for over 25 years but it was at its worst when I was 19 Its obvious you are suffering from the worst part what I call trial and error disease. Meaning you have to keep trying things until you find something that works. You may need to go to a dermatologist and you may be a candidate for accutane.
