I'm guessing you are looking for expendable income? If you're married, no dependents,don't own a home or other write-offs, in the current tax structure you could pay about 47%. This includes State, Federal, Social Security, and the taxes you pay in your community when you purchase taxable items. This is primarily my own experience from a low middle income. You may pay less or more depending on business requirements that you may be able to write off. Of course, it is very likely that the tax code will be different when you actually start earning an income and begin paying off that student loan.

Well first off, i've pretty much managed to fcuk myself over completely when it comes to grades in high school and i hate myself im so much of a loser, i hate myself so much for letting my a.d.h.d. get the best of me, i completely failed at getting a great paying job in the medical career like my mom always wanted, and i feel like my life will not be very good and i will be miserable unless i follow my dreams and become a professional stand- up comedian, but just in case that doesn't work out i was wondering if i could still get a high paying job without going to college.

Is it possible? Yea, Bill Gates does not have a college degree, but odds are better with a college degree. I understand exactly where you are coming from. I was almost kicked out of high school because my grades were so low. I too had ADHD as well and thought that school was just for some people and not others. I hated school. But the truth is that you can still get a degree even with bad grades in high school. You can go to a community college and transfer to a university after finishing your general education. No one will even look at your high school transcripts. You will end up spending less if you go to a community college anyway. The crazy thing is that although it's not easy, it's not as hard as you would think. It's not as hard as I thought it would be. I now have a degree in finance and I'm looking to pursue my masters. I've worked some hard jobs in my life. The crazy thing is that the hardest jobs pay the least. I would say follow your dream to become a comedian, but start taking some classes on the side as a safety net. If one direction takes off you can always drop one for the other. I'm planning to get a degree in dietetics/food management but i want to keep my choices open in life just in case i may or may not want to join the navy. lets say i go to college like your average person and successfuly got my bachelors degree, and fit all of the navy requirements. can i still become an officer? and is the process of enlistment different for enlisted and officers?

you do not have to have the Military pay for your degree. But the Navy is very picky.. a Degree in Food Management will not necessarily be good enough. the Navy has different Recruiters for Officers. Generally speaking, to have decent shot at Navy OCS, you need a 3.5 or better GPA in a Hard science degree, coupled with extra curricular activities such as a sport, community involvement and student organizations. leadership roles are a big plus.

or law, all you need is common sense to be a lawyer, and most lawyers dont have common sense. the law these days is a joke, a 17 year old guy goes to jail for 10 years for getting head by a 15 year old girl??? innocent people go to jail all the time, innocent people get executed. lawyers only defend you because you're paying them too. if the other guy paid your lawyer double to go against you, he'd do it. and bankruptcy lawyers...do i even need to explain? if you wanna file for bankruptcy, you have no money! so why do they charge you $2000 to file? business, do you really need a masters to know how to manage a business, when there are people who barely graduated high school and own their own business? finance...do you really need a bachelors to know how to manage money? so many people are going to graduate college, forget everything they learned, and decide to change their career paths. so many people opt to go to graduate school, get their masters, phd....for what? when you graduate, you're gonna have so much money in college debt to payoff, and unless you majored in law, med, or computers, u probably wont make anywhere near enough to pay it off. you’ll end up working 9-5, monday through friday sitting at a desk all day, and then go home and be to stressed to do anything. and on fridays, you’ll get drunk off your ass because that’s all you know how to do. look at the amount of people being laid off. 3 million were laid off last year, and of those 3 million, i guarantee at least half had college degrees, maybe masters, phds. now those people are fighting to work at places like mcdonalds. theres no such thing as job security, no such thing. within 20 years, when all these immigrants who cant speak english, start to speak better english, theyll take your jobs. those people work 100x as hard as you do, and will do your job for half of what you make, and be 100x more productive. the majority of these jobs, all you need is a month of on-the-job training, and you're set. these hispanics who cant even speak english, go and cut someones lawn and make 30 dollars for the 45 minutes it takes them to cut it. meanwhile, you're making 25 an hour to sit at a computer wearing a suit and tie for 40-60 hours a week. in this economy...you all think its bad to live at home??? Well depends on the company.. if it is just some office you would be lucky to get about 8.00 hour. if it is some big major company prob around 10.00 hour

The average fee for a massage is $60 in the US. That is not what the massage therapist is actually paid. They are usually paid like about 40%of that which means about $24 an hour. The salary statistics are deceiving because most massage therapists own their own business. You still don't make $60 an hour because there is overhead and expenses. Your potential is much higher when you own your own business but then you really need to have a minor in business and marketing. Most massage therapists don't know the first thing about it and they don't teach much in massage school.

what province are you in? if alberta...hmmm...i know of many people make a big $$$ in alberta. The oil is HOT right now, and qualified employment is hard to find. I only have a hugh school education...and i could easiliy find a job paying 16 dollars an hour to start, but if i really wanted to, my husband could get me a job at 22 dollar an hour! (but i am a stay at home mom...8 month preg) ALBERTA is where it is at. i dont think you can find that kind of wage in any other province.
