you won`t die, for goodness sake. think on the positive side, it`s actually a good detox and ur reducing digestive stress so ur body wont have to work so hard to digest all the unhealthy foods u eat... i think u`ll probably lose at least 5kg of water weight but the weight will come back if u continue eating normally unless u eat only fruits n vegetables...

My birthday is about a week and i want to lose weight fast , so i wanted to know if i just drink water for a week how many pounds do i lose?

i tried once (not to lose weight, i was just totally bummed out). i had salads and water (mostly) and i lost about 6 pounds. But men lose weight easier then women. I would suggest working out, drinking lots of water....and whatever you do eat, make it healty. salads, lots of veggies etc. but dont kill yourself.

I'm in college and haven't had enough money for groceries this past week, so i've been living off of much less than i usually eat but still enough that i'm not hungry. also, i haven't been drinking as much water because the tap in my dorm keeps getting shut off. i've lost a lot of weight, but was it all water weight? how can i tell?

A good bit of it will be water weight, yes. To lose 10 lbs of fat in 7 days you'd have to burn 35,000 more calories than you consumed. That's not realistic. Also, eating too little slows your metabolism so don't be surprised if you put those pounds right back in (and maybe more) when you start eating as you should. Your body will want to store extra calories (in the form of fat) for when it goes through another famine. You can tell the difference in water weight loss and fat loss, when your weight changes drastically from one day to the next. Fast changes are going to be water, as your body isn't going to show multiple pounds of fat gains/losses overnight typically.

Im in junior high and i feel so fat compared to all my friends. they all wear size 00 jeans, and i barely fit into size 7. i have never had a guy ask me out and im sick of it! i weigh around 140 pounds and i feel so fat. i need to lose weight asap and i dont care how i do it. so if i stop eating for a week and only drink water, how many pounds will i lose? and also how many weeks of no eating does it take to lose 30 pounds? thnx :]

Stop being so lazy. If you really want to lose weight, GET OFF YOUR BUTT AND EXERCISE. I know that sounds harsh, but if you don't eat for a week, chances are you'll GAIN weight, not lose it. Plus, you'll look sick 24/7, have no energy whatsoever, lose muscles, and possibly even die. If you really feel that bad about yourself (which you shouldn't), get off the computer, and go run around your neighborhood, do SOMETHING productive. Start eating healthy. No junk food at all, no sodas, no candy, stick to fruits, vegetables, and lean meats. You need to eat though. So be a little smarter about this, and lose weight the right way.

Um I can't really answer this, it depends on everything about your body, Age, gender, heigh, and weight. Also depends on what you are eating, what type of exercise you are doing and how long. 1 week Won't be a lot, maybe 1-3 pounds if you are lucky.

Is this true that if the only liquid you drink for 2 weeks is water, you will lose 6 pounds? if so, how much water per day should you drink?

you will only lose water weight with no loss of body fat. starving the body is the exact opposite of what is needed for there to be accelerated fat loss.

you'll lose a few pounds, but it wont be from fat, it will be water weight. it slows down your metabolism, so when you start eating, your body will store more fat. so doing this will only make you fatter
