I have one too. It's solid red, with no other pigmentation. I had a dermatologist look at it, and she said it was simply a mole (but she had a fancier name for it). Bottom line is that I have to keep hair combed over the top of it so I don't look stoopid. Good news is it won't kill me.

Q. Is it a boil or a pimple? a lump with no head, no puss just oil and its sore.? this is my 4th one, i usually get one on my chin it is a round flat lump that is half an inch squared.
when try to pop it and squeeze it it just oils up.
the last few times i have gotten a pin and poked it until i felt a pop and then squeeze a lot of oily stuff out.
it is never enough oil to drip though.
if i leave them they stay for 2-5 days being really sore and when i poke at them they leave an ugly scab on my face for the whole week.
i wear powder make up and clean it off and i use toner.
but i still get them?
why do i get them and how can i prevent them?
and back the original question what are they?
after re-reading i have a few typos... this laptops keyboard requires you to hit the keys really hard to actually press them. i dooo speak english!

I have a small lump on the top of my head. its about the size of a big pimple but its very hard. what is it? ithe lump is on the top of my head. iits very hard and pointy. it does not hurt. it itches from time to time but not very often. its not red . i had it for a couple years now. its aproximetly 1" from my hair line. i was just wondering if i should get it checked out.

Im sorry but i cant really help but i can relate.. i have a lump like on the top of my head and i've had it for years, i recently went to the doctor and he said it was a cis < sorry cant spell it.
If i was you i would get it checked out just to be on the safe side...

use rubbing alchohol then an acne soap then wash your face with hot hot water for 1 minute then do it all over again and then when you finish rinse with cold water to close your pores =)

but go to the doctor you never know, go to a dermatologist or your primary doctor he can prescribe you some cremes my face is almost acne free thanks to my wonderful doctor

I get those sometimes too, and I have been told that it is an infected hair follicle. If it is discharging infection, it would make sense to be a pimple because it is possible to get pimples anywhere on your body . Try taking a hot shower and really scrubbing your head while using shampoo. Don't try to pop it often, only when you think it is ready. If it doesn't go away and keeps bothering you, I would consult a doctor.

sound like an ingrown hair. Wait a couple of week and see if it disappears. If it lasts longer than a month see your doctor.

What is this small, hard lump at the anus? i just found this small, hard lump, like a pimple head, at my anus. not sure since when it was there, but i could only feel it when i am squatting down. did a rectal examination last month, but the doctor did not find anything wrong apart from piles and fissure. any ideas what this could be? should i be worried?
forgot to mention that the hard lump feels inside the skin, not on the surface.

could be just that... a small pimple or carbunkle. it could also be the beginnings of an external hemmrhoid. either way, they can come up very quickly and might not have been there last month. it's easily diagnosed and treated. i see stuff like this all the time in my clinic.

Q. I have a small lump on my head? right near my hair part toward the back of my head i have a small lump, about the size of a pimple. it feels like a scab, but it must not be because it has been there for atleast three weeks now.
i pick at it occasionaly but it just "crusts over" again.

What might this pimple-like lump be i have on the skin of my penis? its to the right of my shaft (main vain) not on my penis muscle but on the skin of it. ive had this before and it went away but ive had this for about 3 weeks. i doubt its a pimple because it has no white head where puss comes out.
