Hi, can someone help me with below details: 1. approximate cost of living in australia i know this might vary to a large extent. supposing i need a place for just one couple (very small family) in perth. so, for two person in perth, what would be the average weekly expense including all mandatory expense like rental, electricity, food, etc. 2. what can be the average salary of a 5 years experienced employee - for instance a computer aided drafter. 3. if i have a 20 hrs weekly work permit, is the salary out of this, possible to run a small family in perth. 4. are there work from home options in australia. in short, if i have a student's visa, is it possible for me to look after my family expenses, excluding all education semester fee. i know, you cannot give accurate answers. but i would apperciate your thoughts on this :) thank you.

Working 20 hrs a week you will not be able to afford to live in Perth . The rent is way to high. I'm paying $320 a week rent. Check out realestate.com.au or reiwa.com.au. How much of $100.00 if you made it shoveling driveway's, and you had a family of 5 and this was your only weekly income except for social security which was only $600.00 and your spouse got $185.00 s.s and one kid got $400.00 disablity income, average food cost is roughly $300.00 weekly along with help from churches, and food banks etc. oil heat costs about $620.00 a month to fill tank...electricity here is $285.00 a month due to a fixed payment plan for an overdue bill of $1,350.00, car insurance $45.00 a month. other than extra basic houshold items needed expenses like soap, dish soap, shampoo, orange bag's for the town dump $6.00 for 6 how much would you be actually able to save out of every snow storm making $100.00 shoveling per storm? and mowing lawn's for the same 10 people in the spring & summer for $100.00 a week, and would you be able to keep it in the bank without touching any of it, and if so how???

If you're making $100.00 per driveway of shoveling snow, if that's what you're saying, then it seems it would depend on how many driveways you could shovel per week, assuming it snows enough to require shoveling, and that your customers pay immediately. I don't live far enough north to have that experience of shoveling snow, so, I can't really give you an accurate answer, but, depending on how much snow we're talking about, and how long the driveways are, I'd like to think I could do at least one driveway a day, which means I'd be earning approximately $700.00 per week, or $2,800.00 per month. That's good money, for as long as the snow lasts. And I'm not sure about the size of the yards you're mowing, and if you edge and sweep, etc., or whether you just run a lawn mower over the yard, but, down here in Texas, we get charged enough per yard to make me think you may need to rethink how much you charge per yard. You could be making a bit more money on those yards than you currently do. Maybe $250.00 per week instead of $100.00 per week. That would increase your monthly income during those months from $400.00 to $1,000.00. Again, I don't know where you live and you seem to have been charging this $100.00 per month for the ten yards, so, to increase your fee you're gonna have to do more than just run a lawn mower over the yard, but it may be well worth it. I can guarantee you that where I live in Texas, you ain't gonna get anyone to mow your yard for $10.00, which is what you're charging each person. Think about how to affect your income at least as much as you try to affect your spending. God Bless you.
